This site is dual-purpose. In the menu, you can find my personal art portfolio, but I love videogames too much to leave them out of a site that is supposed to showcase who I am.

I have loved watching and playing videogames for as long as I can remember (or at least since I found my dad’s old Nintendo DS).

I believe that games are one of the best methods of storytelling out there and that stories connect people almost as well as art does.

​

Think about it this way: why do people (usually) share stories? Answer: to connect with and appeal to others.

Video games essentially make those stories visual and interactive. Why? To connect with an even broader audience.

So, with a background in visual arts, my goal is to help other artists in the gaming industry stay informed about the people who make their favorite games. If I can, I also want to demystify the long, complicated process of game development.

It is, in my opinion, and in my experience, that people generally don’t know how art fits into games, or vice versa.

Knowing that there is a whole person, with their own entire life, who made the game that you are playing can change the experience of the game for the better.

It might make you slow down to appreciate its details and intricacies more when you know someone had to have the thoughtfulness to put it there.
